Creating Your Account<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Download and open I Fed the Pet<\/li>\n
  2. Create an account with your email, Apple, or Google<\/li>\n
  3. Choose “Create a Household” on the welcome screen<\/li>\n
  4. Create a name for your household (e.g., “Smith Family”)<\/li>\n
  5. Enter your name<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    A default pet is created for you automatically. You’ll start on the Free plan with space for 1 household, 2 members, and 1 pet.<\/em><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Red I FED THE PET Button”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]\n

    Recording a Feeding<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Tap the large red “I FED THE PET” button on the home<\/p>\n

    screen<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. If you have multiple pets (Pro), first select which pets) you fed using the checkboxes<\/li>\n
    2. The feeding is recorded instantly with the current time<\/li>\n
    3. The status card updates to show when and who fed the pet (s)<\/li>\n
    4. Other household members receive a notification (based on their notification settings)<\/li>\n
    5. You can tap “Undo” within 2 minutes if you made a mistake<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The status card shows the last feeding time and who fed which pet(s)!<\/em><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Viewing Activity”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]\n

      Checking Feeding History<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. View recent feedings in the “RECENT” section on the home screen<\/li>\n
      2. Tap the bell icon in the top-right corner to see all notifications<\/li>\n
      3. In notifications, see feeding activity, member joins, and household updates<\/li>\n
      4. Pro users can tap “VIEW ALL” to see up to their last 30 feedings<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Free accounts see only their most recent feeding.         Inviting Members (Admin Only)<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. Go to Settings \u2192 Household section<\/li>\n
        2. Tap “Share” and select your preferred method<\/li>\n
        3. They’ll receive the invitation code to join your household<\/li>\n
        4. Once they join, they appear as an “Active” member<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Editing & Removing Members<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Tap the trash icon to remove a member from the household<\/li>\n
          • To edit your own name, go to Settings \u2192 Account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Adding Multiple Pets (Pro Feature)<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. Upgrade to Pro to unlock multiple pets<\/li>\n
            2. Go to Settings \u2192 Pets section<\/li>\n
            3. Tap “Add pet” and enter the pet’s name<\/li>\n
            4. When feeding, use checkboxes to select which pets were fed<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Removing Pets (Admin Only)<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              • In Settings \u2192 Pets, tap the trash icon next to the pet’s name<\/li>\n
              • Confirm the removal when prompted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Managing Notification Preferences<\/strong><\/p>\n

                1. Go to Settings \u2192 Notifications<\/li>\n
                2. Toggle “Feeding notifications” to get notified when pets are fed<\/li>\n
                3. Toggle “Member notifications” to get notified when new members join<\/li>\n
                4. Changes are saved automatically<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  1. Go to Settings \u2192 Reminders \u2192 Feed reminders<\/li>\n
                  2. Tap “Add Reminder” to create a new reminder<\/li>\n
                  3. Enter a label (e.g., “Morning feeding”)<\/li>\n
                  4. Set the time you want to be reminded<\/li>\n
                  5. Tap “Add” to save the reminder<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Muting a Reminder<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • Tap the toggle on any reminder to mute or unmute it<\/li>\n
                    • Muting a reminder stops it for the whole household<\/li>\n
                    • Only the Admin can mute or unmute reminders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
